The EC Twinolux is a sweet variation of the classic tweed '57 Twin Amp™, with a ton of unique twists. You get hand-wired all-tube ciruitry in a single-channel design, and dual Weber-designed Eminence-built 12" speakers. Four 12AX7 preamp tubes supercharge your signal, with two 6L6GE tubes in the power amp section. You even get the '50s era tremolo design, which has a more distinct throbbing pulse than later Fender designs. That's a serious recipe for classic tone. Beyond the amazing sound, you'll love the EC Twinolux's solid pine construction. It's not only robust, it lends to the warm yet focused sound and excellent definition of the EC Twinolux. The Fender EC Twinolux is the result of a historic collaboration between Fender and Eric Clapton. Eric Clapton wanted a special version of the iconic '57 Twin amp, so Fender went to work to produce a hand-wired combo voiced to Eric's preference. The result is a combo amp that embodies the warmth, depth, and character that classic Fender amps are known for.

Power attenuator for studio flexibility
The Fender EC Twinolux gives you the ability to reduce the speaker output with a built-in power attenuator. You can even use it to turn off one speaker for even lower output, while retaining the full tone and response of the EC Twinolux. This makes it ideal for studio recording, cranking out epic tone at a low level to reduce signal bleed (and neighbor irritation!).

Ready to rock on the road
Once you get your hands on the Fender EC Twinolux, you'll want everyone to hear it! Don't fret, the finger-joined solid pine construction makes the EC Twinolux as solid as a rock. The solid pine cabinet also helps the EC Twinolux sound warm, defined, and punchy, just like a good amp should sound. And the built-in power attenuator makes it ideal for smaller venues that have problems with too much stage volume - just turn down the speaker output, and you'll get the same awesome tone and response at a lower volume.
